Ecco come sarà il MacBook Air con Display Retina da 12 pollici

Tra le novità del 2015, oltre all’Apple Watch, arriverà un nuovo MacBook Air da 12 pollici con Display Retina. Al momento soltanto questo computer non dispone di uno Display Retina ma sono già trapelate tantissime informazioni a riguardo e perfino dei mockup basati su schemi tecnici di produzione.

Il nuovo MacBook Air Retina sarà molto più piccolo dell’attuale modello da 13 pollici ma sarà anche più stretto dell’attuale modello da 11 pollici. Per ottenere questo risultato, Apple ha leggermente ridotto lo spazio vuoto tra le lettere della tastiera ed ha inoltre ridotto la cornice ai lati del display.

Una grande novità dovrebbe riguardare l’hardware e la scelta di abbandonare le tradizionali USB a favore del nuovo standard USB Type-C. Queste porte oltre ad essere molto più sottili ed adatte al design del “computer più sottile al mondo”, consentono di raggiungere una velocità di trasferimento di 10 Gbps e possono fornire perfino l’alimentazione al computer.
